			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for the pro tips guys! I got it working. </p><p>I had to carefully re-route the wires so I could fit the shallower end of the extruder on the carriage side. Now I have 1/4&quot;+ clearance. I&#039;ve printed all day without issue. </p><p>I am printing those replacement parts today just in case (thanks for the pointers). Since Solidoodle doesn&#039;t appear to carry the replacement extruders anymore, I think I&#039;ll print up an E3D compatible extruder.</p><p>Jeff</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Install of New SD2/SD3 hotend in SD2?]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p><p>I purchased Solidoodle&#039;s replacement SD2/SD3 hotend and installed it into my SD2. It doesn&#039;t fit as nice as the original SD2 hotend, so I wanted to check in with the community before I heat the thing up.</p><p>The bulkiness of the new extruder design makes contact with my X-carriage (see attached hotend.jpg). I tried all angles of install and this was the only side that would fit due to the geometry of the new extruder. My question is, will this melt my X- carriage assembly? If so, and pro-tips on how to fix it?</p><p>Appreciate the help.</p><p>Jeff</p>]]></content>
