You may need to experiment a little and find what works best for you and the filament you are using. The book instructions are correct.
Could you post some pictures of the instructions manual? Just curious. This is the first SD machine I know of to include one.

Is it just a typo in the manual or should I not go over that temperature? As I have understood, most ABS filament needs a higher temperature than 210 to print.
