Where when it finished the bed would move to the z max to give you room to reach the part. If he wants it to do this without his actions, he will need to go into his slicer settings. Find the end gcode settings and add as the final line a z move command to move it to whatever the z max is. I would not go further than 180 myself. Once he does that the code will be added each time a model is sliced.</p>]]></content>

You are welcome to try pronterface which allows you to make buttons and assign them functions such as executing a string of gcode. But to my knowledge no one is or has used it or even if it works on&nbsp; Da Vinci. The Repetier firmware is not compatible with all host. To name a few I have tried without success. There is Cura, Craftware, and Makerware. Not sure about others.</p>]]></content>

The bed moves from the top starting position and down as it prints. Also if your bed height is calibrated correctly by using the manual method that is a sticky at the top of this section you can print directly on clean bare glass so you have nothing to clean.</p><p>If you now your way around gcode then you could also add a move command to the end gcode in your host that would move the bed to lower position as well. Just need to make a z move to whatever position the lowest usable position is like 180 or so.</p>]]></content>
