My steps were so far off it wasnt funny...also fixed my scaling and placement issue. My brain didnt even catch that when I hit x or y axis 50mm it went 100, I was watching and knew something was wrong but couldnt tell what until I took my head out of my arse and thought for a second...smh. Z-axis down 10 went about 22...fixed all those and extruder steps and fixed 9/10 of my problems. Im such an ass

Started using Cura works fine...may look to see if an older Slic3r works but for now cura will do

I load gcode and hit print and it just homes than diagonally CRAWLS to front left and hits it and trys to keep going...

Also those holes are there under motor mount. Was a bad picture at bad angle

Idk, I run all stl files through netfabb. I was unaware if a file had no errors than netfabb would ruin it

Why did you need to clean it up? There were no errors in the STLs I posted.

The inserts was a belt problem thst ive sinced fix. All prints would start to slant thats what happened there. Took care of that bit now though

Thanks a ton, I cleaned in up in netfabb and sliced at 0.1 w slic3r...i have to go and see what happens w original and not run through netfabb

I'm looking at this piece, and becuase I know what it's supposed to look like, I can tell you it's really messed up. There seem to be steps in the side wall that shouldn't be there (Skips in the first image), there's holes in the motor mount that shouldn't be there, it just looks wrong.

I wonder if this is some kind of slicing error, or whether the printer is skipping or jumping around and not following the paths. Here are some pics of the model from the same angles as the photos posted by the OP.

You should also try to add support for the arches and the vertical holes

BTW, the vertical part of the motor mount is 2mm thick and with a bit of support should print clean even without cooling.

Guys, have a closer look at the top solid infills. There's so many holes it seems there's no top solid infill at all, just honeycomb. This hints me there's still underextrusion.
Not saying there's no melting going on, but if there is, that's not the only issue.

yes I have similar issues with the tiny parts I make so I add other tall models to print job to give time for tall thin parts to cool a bit between layers. or even put multiple copies of item at a time on print job if small. also in slic3r try checking 'avoid crossing perimeters but this adds time to print job and more movement of the extruder. just another option to consider until part cooling fan gets added

Last 20-30 layers...that's a real thin section and getting melted by the nozzle staying in one relative area too long. If you have a filament cooling fan, use that...if not, you might consider a sacrificial post toward the other side of the bed to give that section time to cool.

Thanks I'll look and see what I have em at, Still have other things to work out extruder wise. Was going good until last 20-30 layers...hmm
