You also may want to increase your infill density. Notice how the thin parts are only over the empty space?
You might want to try it at 30% to 40% and see if that helps.

My guess is that with nothing underneath it to push against there is not any "squish" to spread the filament wide so the edges touch.

I can confirm the previous poster as well. Unless you just want a rough quick print for sizing or something then you minimum top shell count should be two but really needs to be three. You bottom shell can get by on 2 but again three would give you better results.

Need to set the Horizontal shells to

top: 2 or 3
bottom: 2 or 3

So I am fairly new to all of this 3D printing and I am running in to some issues. Here are some sample prints that I used slic3r to generate the code. As you can see some of the exposed top layers are pretty thin and sometimes not even covering. Im not sure what settings to adjust as they are not the absolute top or bottom layers but they should still be solid. Are there any settings to fix this. Thanks in advance!
