My free air extrusion width is .53mm. To measure it just run about 30 mm of filament thru before printing and measure  the diameter, of course you will need a caliper to do that.

I know I have the right diameter for the filament set in slic3r since I am using stratasys filament. What other variables do I need to experiment with in order to get normal extrusion? Anything special I should be looking at?
