			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>yes still works.<br />my software ver. 1.1.33.3 and FW ver. 1.0.3 da vinci 1.0a<br />i just have to change the from 120m to 240.<br />no mod done on the printer except for the firewall settings to black it.<br />thats it.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I flashed it. It works now with Repetier-.92-3F10A.bin. It seems to work quite well if the printer is NOT connected to the PC.&nbsp; Even if the USB cable is connected without any sort of Computer the display will not work properly. But, if everything is disconnected, the printer works fine.</p>]]></content>

No one has been able to rip the original from the device yet, and they are still working on a Repetier version due to XYZ changing pin-outs to screw the previous release. Apparently XYZ thinks they are in a war of some kind to prevent users from jail breaking their units. They still think the cartridges are the right method of marketing.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>they have changed the firmware in the newer models and the pin-outs are different from the custom firmwares. There are currently guys working on building a new firmware for these new motherboards. Also as of now I don&#039;t think that there is any way to flash it back to any original firmware.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Thinking about buying a Da Vinci and what brought me to join this forum.</p><p>I recently discovered the 1.0A version as it stated that it could also print PLA.</p><p>I very much want to hack it not wanting to get tied to cartridges etc, curious to know why the second poster said not to flash it? has the firmware been changed on the 1.0A as many do re flash the 1.0 with repetier and feel they get much better results</p>]]></content>
