Ive been using the rafting option in XYZware more and more frequently, but its difficult to use on large items.
Small items separate from the raft fairly easily, but large prints have to be cut off.  The bottom of the print doesnt have a solid finish, compared to printing directly on the glass bed.
Ive attached an image illustrating this, identical objects, one printed on the glass, the other on a raft.

Is there any way to adjust this in XYZware, or would I have to move to 3rd party slicers/print app like Slic3r or Cura?
Ive considered modeling my own raft to place under the main object, so Ill give that whirl.

If you are using ABS, then stop using the glue and use Kapton or Blue painters tape. Also manually adjust your bed per the procedure posted by me here in this sub forum.

Do this and should not need a raft regardless of print size.
