			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>got mine today and I&#039;m testing with it as we speak. So far 230 c for the hotend and 70 c on a glass bed seems to be right for the stainless steel pla. gunna buff on it in a bit.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>any extruded material is only as strong as the plastic etc that bonds it together. as its just fine dust inbedded into the base material that melts. and yes if the &quot;powdered&quot; material is harder than extruder parts it will be abrasive towards those softer parts just like when using a drill or saw blade on hard materials the blades suffer the end results.</p><p>only Laser powder type printers can &#039;weld&#039; metals etc together. so&nbsp; for the &#039;desk top 3D printer&#039; industry, these type exotic filaments are mostly for looks with some practical uses for conducting electricity, flexibility, etc. the metals are mostly for costume jewelry and art. but still in demand due to what can be made using 3D tech now.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Unfortunately they (Proto Pasta) have not announced recommended heat settings like they usually do in detail.<br />And yes, you *can* print it with a stock hotend, but just imagine a stainless steel PLA clog in a PEEK hotend. It may just be a certain percentage steel, but I can&#039;t imagine it would be any less fun than clearing a PLA clog. Also, consider expansion. It may be wise to upgrade to an E3D with a larger nozzle...it would certainly be easier to maintain. <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Can someone tell me, most of this stuff just melts at regular PLA/ABS temps? I saw the magnetic recommend even lower. Could someone pint with this stuff with SD stock extruders, thermistors and nozzles? I think it&#039;s pretty neat. I have a Press on order and I have an SD2 Pro that needs a new motor. I&#039;m eventually upgrade the SD2 to a Bulldog or other setup but I was just wondering how far I&#039;d get with this stuff once I get off of my rear and fix my SD2.
