Thanks Carl, I figured I would give the height adjustment a shot and it seemed to be the issue. I went to ~.15mm instead of .2mm and I seem to be getting much better prints now. I will keep an eye out to see if its burning anymore, but I am assuming that the filament was curling up and hitting the extruder for a period of time causing the burning.

I'm running 212 extruder and 90 bed with .2mm layer height. Also I'm using stock firmware with stock xyzware

What temp are you printing at and what is your layer height? Are you running stock firmware and software as well?

Hey all,
I bought a set of feeler gauges and adjusted my print head to be .2mm above the bed manually. Attached is what my sample prints look like but I have seen this before as well. Is this because of it being too high? If so what distance have you guys had success with?
