			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>It worked just wired to the original output on the solidoodle driver board.&nbsp; I am currenly using an azteeg x5 mini powered by the computer sitting next to the printer because something went wrong with the cpu on my original controller, though, so I can&#039;t do many future tests on it.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[A new extruder design]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>When I got my metal hot end, I didn&#039;t entirely like any of the existing extruder designs, so I made a new one!<br />files here: links not allowed apparently. thingiverse thing 541085<br />Designed to be rigid and firmly hold the hotend in place.<br />Minimal distance between the extruder gear and the top of the hotend, works with the stock z-stop and prints flexible filament like ninjaflex (pfte tube must be correctly cut for this).<br />Pulling up on the tension screw disengages it from the lever instead of breaking things.</p><p>The (bottom, pwm) fan shroud could be better, but it works (feel free to make one!).<br />The parts in the pictures were printed with version 1 of itself, in abs.</p><p>The solidworks source for this has several external dependencies (standard &quot;vitamin&quot; parts) that i&#039;m not sure of the distribution license for.&nbsp; They are all simple, used for measurements or visual positioning (in the case of the fans).&nbsp; I made a model of the e3d v6 (all parts) myself from the published drawings, that someone may find useful.</p>]]></content>
