Posted this info on a thread i started called 'Unresponsive printer' However its a great deal and great experience. I thought the community would benefit from a dedicated thread.
Where to buy these printers and the support offered at retail can be more important than the purchase price.

A large computer store called micro-center opened near me, that's where i purchased my Davinci 1.0 for $500
( I dont work for or know anyone that works for them )

I had a bunch of issues with it which culminated in a dead unit, i took the printer back without the box or any packing materials and was offered my money back unconditionally. I really liked the printer so they offered me a unit for $330. It had been returned but fully checked out and guaranteed as new.

So i took the return unit which has a 30 day guarantee for $330 and purchased a 2 year accidental damage guarantee for $90. Anything goes wrong with it i can take it back for replacement or refund - no questions.

They then refunded me $80 Cash due to the lower cost of my original $500 purchase.

Can anyone imagine this happening at Best Buy or even Amazon? Unreal.
