I dont want to end up with holes in my print when I wash away support material either. Im waiting til about Feb and see which of the other compact duel extruders rise of those links I posted in the 'duel extruder question' topic

The bigger issue is you'll need another stepper, and electronics that support two extruders. Like the RAMBO board.

I'll carry it as soon as it goes public, and will have ideas on how to implement it. I've seen the prototype, its quite intelligent.
