			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Blue bearings couldn&#039;t handle the load. They were phased out after v1.0.</p><p>Bearings (roller or ball) need to be lubricated to avoid corrosion, which will damage them quickly.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;m using the enclosure, which I&#039;d imagine would help keep things lined up better (but it does heat up inside).&nbsp; </p><p>I have a &quot;frankenstruder&quot;, which was a #76 from Kickstarter, updated to more modern parts, with the roller thrust bearing instead of the blue one.&nbsp; That died catastrophically maybe 125 hours into extrusion and took the barrel and auger with it.&nbsp; The thrust bearing is a metallic pudding.&nbsp; I reassembled the &#039;struder with my old parts and the blue bearing, and approximately 125 hours into it again it bound up because the thrust washer was totally destroyed.</p><p>The Nylon is worn into a nice cone shape and seated well, the shaft collar is in the right spot, and nothing is grinding against the motor.&nbsp; I can attach pictures of carnage if I need to...ideas?</p>]]></content>
