There was an outfit on Amazon some months back that was selling 1 kg spools of GBB filament for $9.99 with free shipping. I love a bargain so stocked up at that price. The regular price is $21.99 and up depending on the color. Why the color would make any difference in price I don't know, but I suspect they drop the price on whatever they have the most of in stock. I've used several spools so far and it seems to work fine. I've also used SainSmart filament, which as I remember runs around $28 and haven't had any problems with it.

Their filament is highly consistent from reel to reel, both in diameter and thermal properties.  I don't even measure a new spool any more to check the extrusion ratio; I just feed it in, and it works.

Although they seem to be a smaller company, they keep expanding their offerings.  Their customer support has been very good.  I had a question regarding some PLA I ordered, and they were very responsive and helpful.


They suggested a temperature of 230 degrees C for the print head, did you adjust your?

I must second IC3D.  I've been printing with it since I got my first 3D printer last year.   The stuff comes sealed with dessicant, in a nice box, and I've never had any issues with it.

Guess its sad this is the 1st I've heard of them considering their that close to me.
Ordered one of their sample packs. We'll see.  I've mostly been using sainsmart ABS.

So far my pick is a filament made by siridi,
They use top grade USA raw material. So I decided to buy a bunch and start selling it. Florida-filaments.com
I find it to work well on the xyz da vinci, not sure how it does on other machines.
