not sure how motherboard/controls would take the highre wattage draw even with bigger power supply. are you going to make them send correct pads? Id rather have that if so. but if it will work with standard motherboard etc with like a 400watt power supply it would be cool to heat bed fast as extruder and cut the waiting out b4 printing.

The temp sensor on these pads will require an adjustment in the firmware for accurate readings but yeah, it would be much like it is currently, maintaining the desired temp, except you will NEED a relay for these. Yeah I know... I wish they were on the correct side too, I complained to the company and they basically said it was my fault for assuming they build their pads to mount under surfaces. They said they would replace them at half the cost but same shipping (the spendy part) plus it takes a lot of time.

I'm connecting it to a 400 PC PSU right now.

Riiight, I dont have an ammeter and my cheapo multimeter reads from .4 to .6 ohms, which isnt too far off if you throw 12v at it.  About 240-340 Watts.

I should start off with noting they are TOOO powerful. The Solidoodle 3 pads I sold are less powerful than these. These are DEFINITELY to much for the stock xbox 360 powersupply. Its a mistake from the manufacturer.

Guessing they are 350 watts!

They put the cable on the wrong side.... The cord is long enough that it can go around and still work. Another mistake...

Im selling these for a loss because I just need to get rid of them. So if you're interested, Ill sell them each for $10.


I have extra 6x6 1/8 aluminum plate to go along if needed.
