I have been just tried to do one to many pint in the center of the bed without freshening up the surface.

Well the print completed but a rough finish guess i need to figure out the cura settings seems like slic3r has a lot more control . but it just will not complete the slicing on this file. I tried the older software still no joy.
the happy Halloween headless dog. Oh well only plastic.
it is demonstrator to show the infill yea that's it!!! I stopped the print on purpose in the same spot twice !!
If this was easy everyone would be doing it. Easy stuff 5 year old can do this with 10 years experience . but home level 3 d printers have only been available for 3 years!! anyway life goes on.

Tin

I have been at his about 10 weeks or so. Have done a lot of reading and some experimenting I have loaded the newer versions of RH and Slic3r Possibly the cause of my problem(s). I have had pretty good results so far and made a fair amount of good prints as well as some ugly ones. I have figured out the source of some problems
1) Rh has seemed reluctant to connect, last night no problem.
2) I fixed the isue of parking after the print.
the real and current question a I attempted to print a solidoodle poodle and it comes out headless. a second attempt did the same thing .
I have had prints quit before but not repeatedly in the same place in the print.
I checked the printer settings in rh and slicer and the print envelope setting look right.
The dog is only about 80mm high and the print stops at 60mm.
I am using a SD4 so plenty of room for this print.
Ideas?
Tin
