Yep.. fortunately I can consider getting the printer back online "work" for the time being.. since the parts I'm printing are actually for work... I just have to get in line for one of the company makerbots for now

Thanks all for the advice. I'll report back here if I make positive progress.

In the meantime, if anyone knows a way to set the end-stop positions via G Code commands, that would be immensely helpful. Have a great weekend all

Well that's the weird part. I'm certain it's worked in the past because I have some large prints that would have had to have been printed beyond my current limits. It's been a while since I've used this SD because my company has some of its own 3D printers. I brought the SD so that a) it doesn't just sit idle at home any more and b) I don't have to wait for other people's prints to finish to do my prototyping work.

The laptop that used to be connected to it at home is now dead so I can't check the RH settings on that

Normally I'd do more self investigation but I'm in and out of meetings all day.. this is one of the many items I'm troubleshooting simultaneously (actually it's the least of my problems today )

The more I look at this, the more I'm inclined to think it's a firmware issue.

This thread: http://www.soliforum.com/topic/1390/sol … -firmware/ seems to validate this assumption. It seems to me that the SD3 has a configuration.h file set for an SD2, given that it is interpreting the end-stop locations incorrectly.

Can anyone advise me if there are M commands that let me rewrite these variables, or do I need to reflash a modified configuration.h file using the Arduino IDE?
