I have to say this is quite a good mod to do, I highly recommend anyone looking for repeatable high accuracy to somehow brace the front of the bed.

i planned on releasing the stls but i made it so long ago i have lost the files
the rod is the same 8mm stuff for the X and Y axis i had left over and a spare LMU8 bearing

Looks nice! Congratulations! I might give it a go as well, as I also noticed some wobbling due to this. Do you have or are you planning to release the stls of the printed parts? And what did you use as a rod?

SD3 front of bed stabilizer

i was getting really rough looking banding on my prints that looked like z axis banding so i looked into the matter some more.
i watched the printer as it was doing its thing and the front of the bed would wobble in the x axis.
so i did the other mods with the same principle but it wasn't sturdy enough and my case wasn't straight enough for one without springs
then i decided to model up a different design.
still in the design process i have lost 20mm of my z height at the moment.
but so far so good im happy with the results and have not touched the z axis.
