i figures the short helmets would work with a gray head and painted face to give the illusion of the full helmet

Right arm needs to be yellow. And I think the full helmet one would be considered more canon.

Depends on the orientation if they lay flat on their back you might even do it without support. But I can't see the back side so it depends
