Don't bother scraping your glass plates, man. You could hurt yourself (I almost lacerated my wrist once). Throw the glass in the freezer and wait for a thud - stuff pops right off and doesn't warp. I've done this for a variety of print sizes. If you put down a room temperature paper towel to prevent direct contact with the cold freezer floor, your glass won't crack even if it is right off the bed, assuming sufficient thickness. I just use glass I get cut at Lowes. If they cut it sharp on one edge, I make them re-do it, because it can really, really injure someone to have 8 inches of sharp glass laying around somewhere.

I also don't attempt scraping directly off the Solidoodle bed anymore either. Got tired of having to re-balance the bed so frequently.

I have been using Elmer Disappearing Purple School Glue stick with great results even for bigger parts. I had issues with ABS slurry and big parts, I had parts that were really stuck and I broke a couple of glass plates. If the part gets stuck with the glue is just matter of running some water on the base of the glass plate.

CB

I had been using hairspray the past couple months to keep my pieces sticking. Yesterday for the first time I needed to make a fan for an electric motor that was about 6 inches wide and 2 tall, At first the hair spray wouldnt hold it, about mid print itd catch and ruin. Tried the abs slurry. Holy cow was i missing out. really helps rid of warping too but my goodness it works wonders. If you havent tried it, go do it now.
