Post-KS motors are more robust (stronger, less prone to brush wear) than KS motors. All three types (KS, post-KS standard, beta) are drop-in compatible.

]]> https://www.soliforum.com/user/221/ 2014-08-28T19:24:01Z https://www.soliforum.com/post/64742/#p64742 <![CDATA[Fully Assembled Filastruder Upgrade]]> I have the FA of the filastruder from Kickstarter and I'm starting to see some slowdown in my output.  ABS MG94 from OSP running at 180 deg.  Motor is kind of grinding when doing output and sometimes it almost just stalls.  I think it's just the motor but I have a question. It seems to have started when I started adding the ABS colorant to it, but I'm not sure if that's really the case or just coincidence.

I'm wondering if the motor on the filastruder site is just a drop in replacement for the one that I have, or maybe I can use the beta motor.
