Could be a partial clog? Or a weird setting in the slicer you use.
For the clog I'd find something like a guitar string that's smaller than the nozzle size(0.4mm). heat up the hotend, remove the filament and stick the string through the extruder, jiggle.. twist etc etc.

As to the slicer settings, what have you got set for the 'combine infil every * layers' option? decrease it to 2 if it's any higher and run a test print.
Failing that install a different version of the slicer and test again just in case something has glitched.

Of course the others will have other, probably better, solutions.

I've been printing very regularly on my Solidoodle 3 and haven't had any issues, Changed over to now maybe my 5th or 6th reel of plastic and just changed my Kapton tape on the bed and now for some reason my Solid layers AFTER the 1st solid bottom layer are printing stringy or with breaks along the line. Not quit sure what the problem is as I have checked the feed rate of the extruder and that's spot on leveled the bed again and not sure whats causing it.
Not sure if it matters but the walls are still printing fine and so a supports.

Any help would be fantastic!
