When you make your changes in configuration.h add a name.  I like to just use the board name so I call the Rumba "Rumba" and the Sang "Sang and the printer board well you get the idea.
But you will want to Note what COM port is which printer.

So once I upload the Marlin firmware for the RAMPS board and fix the appropriate lines in configuration.h and upload, etc; then this new printer (Ord Bot) will appear somewhere?

No different than slicing with only one printer while printing.

Before I configure my second printer, I just want to be sure I don't wipe away the settings for my SD2!
