			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I recently learned how to burn the bootloader onto the atmega 1284p chip used by Sanguinololu.&nbsp; Followed a great tutorial on letsmakerobots.com to upload using Arduino 1.0.4 through an Arduino nano.&nbsp; May want to give it a try if you get stuck.&nbsp; I&#039;m a newb at this and it worked well..</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I had the same issue with my SD2.<br />Ordered a AVR mega644PA with installed bootloader off eBay for 9.00 + 4.00 shipping.</p><p>Swapped the chips out and loaded the firmware, no problems at all. Can now update as described in the various instructions out there.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Almost - right now I think my 644p is missing the bootloader since I can get everything to compile correctly but I&#039;m having a really tough time sending it without getting errors like&quot;avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x89&quot; which I&#039;ve found plenty of pages on.&nbsp; I&#039;ve tried the different baud rates and the different reset button timings and I do have a jumper re:Sang1.3a....</p><p>Suggestions besides setting up to burn the bootloader?&nbsp; -will be waiting on parts for at least a week.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>That would be my bad (Picture would have helped earlier)<br />I should learn not to assume these things.<br />The Sang boards are easy and if you&#039;d like just PM me and I can take you through it.<br />Mostly with the Sang is make sure you save the changes you made in configuration.h<br />Then you can disregard pretty much all of the above instructions just click UPLOAD while hitting the reset button.<br />It&#039;s that simple.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Sketch FINALLY loaded successfully with the right board selected (after finding the Sanguino files). But the max temp didn&#039;t change. It still shuts off at 225C even though I changed the definition to 330C. </p><p>I think I&#039;m just gonna put this thing (E3D) in the oven to heat it to 300. All this is just so I can tighten this thing another 1/16th of a turn! Sigh.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Okay, it&#039;s just one thing after another here. I think the reason I couldn&#039;t see the boot pins is because there was a jumper already on them. So after a reboot, I continued with the instructions posted above.</p><p>But NOW I&#039;m stuck on this. It asks me to hit the reset button. I can push it til my finger falls off and it&#039;s not gonna do anything.</p><p>Next idea? TIA</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>You need the BootloaderHID I&#039;m on my phone so your going to have to search that out.<br />As far as the updated firmware you don&#039;t have to do that part but you should. The link for that doesn&#039;t work because it has been updated since that post.&nbsp; Just download Adrian&#039;s latest from github.<br />Hope that helps</p>]]></content>
