After getting the nozzle off and taking a close look at how things rotate, i found that using my method getting the feeder centered is impossible. There is no center, its all moving around with nowhere to drill to insert a pin.

Only if there was a way to get something at that tip to point toward the center, maybe get it glowing hot and hammer it ? Or weld a piece on to its tip ?

Another thing i found is, the diameter of the nozzle is 1.6mm or 1/16 of an inch. And it was not drilled in the center, otherwise i would consider welding something on to the tip of the feeder screw so i would have a way of attaching the pin that would go thru that hole.

Filter is like a band-aid to a gunshot wound, not a bullet proof vest for sure.
Buying 1 good drillbit to get the feeder drill drilled should not be a issue.
Finding center of the feeder drill is eazy, all you gotta do is to look at it rotate and see what part rotates the least and mark it.
Drilling feeder slightly bigger diameter for the pin creating clearance allowing slight motion inside the feeder drill, but the brass end cap should get smaller hole to restrict pin motion so it does not grind against softer metal.

I am not trying to force the drill to stay perfectly centered, i am trying to guide it.

Can you sell an off centered drilled 1.75mm nozzle ?

The auger is tool steel. Drilling it will be extraordinarily difficult. It will be equally difficult to get a hole in the nozzle that is centered relative to the internal cylinder of the barrel (note that this is not necessarily centered relative to the outside diameter, or the threads).

The pin will wear against the brass. This will dump debris into your filament. If you still feel inclined to try, solid undrilled nozzles are available in the Filastruder store. They are 1/2" NPT thread.

I was thinking about centering the feeder screw one way or another without spending too much money but eliminate internal grinding and achieve near perfect alignment.

It would required to get another nozzle that has extrusion hole drilled away from the center (like half way toward the edge) and in the center drill half way into the nozzle.
Then drill exact same diameter hole in the tip of the feeder screw (at its center obviously) making sure its not exiting thru.
Insert steel pin into the feeder screw hole and guide it into the center of the nozzle.

This should totally work and getting it done is pretty eazy too.

Now the question is: Can i buy a 1.75mm nozzle that has a hole drilled away from the center ? I assume Filastruder guys drill it them selves because its not perfectly centered.

I dont want to just go with an end cap from pluming store because they are not solid but have a cup shape inside to save on material. I need the end cap solid.
What size of an end cap do i need, half inch or 3 quarters ?
