I made a post about the fuseclamp in the filament forum. I did kick in the $81.10 to get one (hopefully) because I have hopes that it will do more for me than just prevent me pelletizing filament leftovers to re-extrude.

If you've seen the video, I've never seen anything else that is quite that slick for joining filament... the price seemed reasonable considering the size of the teflon block used.
