I did the same thing and made it a shot glass. Came out awesome. Pretty much same settings as mentioned above but .2 mm layers

I've printed this one before and I recommend trying 5 shells, no infill and a 2-4mm brimm. I would also uncheck 'Randomize starting points' in Print Settings.

I figured I'd be looking at that next haha. Other than my overhangs, anything else jump out at you for three .3 mm prints?

Doing Ian's fanmod is the best way to help stop droops on the overhangs. I havent yet done that so I normally just turn the extruder temp down a bit so that the layer cools quicker. Be careful though, if you turn it down to low for your filament then you will see some skipping.

Had some time to re-calibrate. Here's a few more pictures, any pointers to fix some of the overhang problems I'm having?

I plan on recalibrating flow rate, and I need to take a look at the video from Solidoodle on belt tensioning.

Your flow rate is off as well, you're laying down too much per pass.

Here's a few pictures of a cylinder test I did, my circles are in fact coming out a little ovally. Do I need to tighten one of my belts?

Also switch to the glass bed because I'm assuming my bed is warped, couldn't for the life of me get it level without it. Loving the ability to switch out platforms.

Seems like they have a twang. I'm going to try printing a hollow cylinder to test it.

Check x and y belt tensions... They should "twang" with little slack on them.

Try printing this instead. I didnt like the first design..they were way too big and unreliable to print.

When I printed these I screwed them on while still hot to create the bolt threads. Then I backed them off, put a drop of glue in the hole, and screwed them back on.

Bed temp was set at 95.

Also, I realized the bottom of my thumbscrews are ovals rather than circles.

What was your bed temp set at? I've seen this on some of my prints when I set the bed temp too high... The layers smoosh down as they haven't cooled enough causing the center to push down and warping the print.

They were too tight, and I didn't know what size of allen wrench was needed to grab the top. I got it to fit now, I actually took something to loosen up the inside, and stripped it out til it fit.

What can I do to clean my prints up? Probably need to actually level my bed, which I'll do as soon as my current print finishes.

Other than that, I bought a bolt to put on my Z axis, so I'll need to do that and get the parts printed as well.

Last thing I can think of is durring the printing process on the thumbscrew, it looks like the sides are warping upwards. Any ideas on that?

I found the thumbscrews impossible to print without a fan, because those overhanging perimeters would curl up so much when they cooled the nozzle would bump them and knock them off. You can try pointing a small fan in during the print, with as gentle a breeze as you can get. Another thing you can try is setting the nozzle diameter in Slic3r to something larger, like maybe .39. This will make it space the threads a little wider, so those overhanging perimeters don't have as much support. Then that upward curl might be counteracted a bit by gravity. That's the theory anyway, I'm not sure how it will work. A fan is your best bet.

About what my first thumbscrews looked like. They still fit so they remain on the printer. Not sure why yours don't fit, unless you think they're too tight. If so, try to screw them in anyway, it may just need to be threaded by the bolt to start them. If they're too loose, did you change the scale?
