Interesting results.
Had alot of strings to clean up under the chin and ears.

The main thing is that just above the eyes the layers shifted over about 4 perimeters, kept printing up about another 25 layers then shifted over again. I have seen this before and have never been able to explain it.

I believe the motors get really hot on a good day, so a 27 hour print on a really hot day I think has caused the motors to miss align or something like that, it is uniform around the part so it wasnt caused by the print shifting on the bed or anything.

Pictures attached, only taken with an iphone..believe it or not I actually I dont own a digital camera...weird.

Im going to order a 40mm heatsink for the x axis and see if it corrects this shift I see from time to time.

Its saturday morning here, just popped into to see the printer...has been running over night, already been running for 24 hours, another 3-4 hours to go. Lucky actually, its going to be 38 degrees here today (100 fahrenheit) so the office is going to get pretty warm, should be finished by the time the heat gets here.

Progress looks good, there are dark lines that run through the model, im assuming these are probably whats left of my z wobble, the nut and hot glue seem to work really well. I found kendalls nut cap didnt suit the rotation of my nut once locked into place.

The detail from printing at .1 on the yoda is very cool, nostrils, mouth, eyes...its almost creepy

Plenty of strings around the chin and ear, will get it cleaned up on monday and post a finished photo.
