]]> https://www.soliforum.com/user/6107/ 2014-07-25T19:15:14Z https://www.soliforum.com/post/61205/#p61205 <![CDATA[Re: Support material being generated....]]> Have you adjusted your overhang threshold angle?  Regardless, I was surprised how much of an overhang the printer can handle before it needs supports.  I found that wider extrusion paths help.  Also, I'm sure it was just a slip up but repetier does not generate the supports, that is slic3r.  Make sure you are using the latest version from slic3r.org.  They have really improved it in the last couple months.  If you post the model you are trying to print, we might be able to help more.

Since day one, Repetier-Host just will not produce support material for overhangs.  I've tried both Slic3r and Skeinforge with no success.

And yes, I've checked the box to generate support material in the printer settings.
