First off what size nozzle are you running? I suspect a .40 and if that is the case then use .48 for extrusion width not .41. Then use extrusion multiplier to refine the printed wall thickness. All of this needs to be done after you have calibrated steps/mm for the extruder. As far as why you are seeing different x-axis vs. y-axis results... Mostly this is caused by misalignment of the y-axis belts and flex in the y-axis drive rod (pillow block and bearings). So it's probably time to do all those calibrations you've been meaning to get around to.

Hi!
I've just bought the E3D V6 hot end to my solidoodle 3 and today I've run several calibration steps. Amongst others I've run the flowrate calibration test found here: wiki.solidoodle.com/flow-rate At first I thought it was allright though the perimeters went down from .56 to .43 (thickness set to .41 in slic3r) But this was only the case in the X direction of the print. The thikness was signifignaly thinner in the Y direction then the X direction of the print. Both before and after the calibration.

What could be the cause of this?

Best regards
Kalf
