Aren't there other slicing apps available for a Mac? As I understand it Mac software doesn't do the base64 encode like it does on Windows side so wouldn't you be able to slice with whatever you want, copy paste the XYZ header onto the gcode and then load into XYZware and send it to the printer?

I print from the SD Card myself (I put it on a cable so it's inside the cabinet by the platform) and I don't use XYZware at all currently. Windows side there are many slicer choices available. Mac being more of an artists platform than a PC is, I'd think it would have multiple slicer programs available as well.

This is happening to me too. It starts slicing, and then the software crashes. I'm on a Mac. I can get smaller objects to print but if I try to print larger (but still on the print bed), the thing crashes. I've tried re-installing/restarting everything. Crashing every time.

Sorry, same problem, no solution. I have tried the newer version 1.0.9 - still crashes. I read somewhere that deleting the .plist (Preference) file in the library would help. There were 2 .plist files related to XYZ printing. Deleting them didn't help. I suppose we just have to wait for Apple to act on the crash reports they receive

the printer was working fine up untill a few days ago . The da vinci software im running is 1.0b8(1A329) the firmware is 1.1G. the issue is the program crashes when i attempt to print.im using a imac version 10.7xx.iv e deleted the xyz files in the library and program, then re-installed hoping it would fix the issue but it didn't.
has anyone encounter this problem?
the only thing left to do is to test it out on a windows pc.... but why has this happened all of a sudden...is my firm ware the issue or is it the mac...arghhh...anyone with a solution please help out.
