			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I had the same issue when i got my Solidoodle i have had numerous problems they are just poorly made units.</p><p>I was promised a new z screw 5 weeks ago still waiting ( sound familiar )</p><p>to be honest not impressed with solidoodle poor customer service and junk products</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Wow cckens, that&#039;s a lot of wobble!</p><p>I&#039;m convinced that a bit of wobble in endemic to the machine, because SD has posted some of their factory prints on facebook with the same condition.&nbsp; But the picture you posted looks way worse.&nbsp; I ordered a new Z screw with my replacement extruder hot end the other, day, but I&#039;m not sure I&#039;ll use it right away.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Let you know when the part comes in.&nbsp; elmoret replaced his.</p><p>I notice it at all levels.&nbsp; The .3mm really shows the wobble effect as the build is linear in nature at very regular intervals.&nbsp; I have tried printing at .1mm, but I get a lot of smooshing when building at higher levels and with the wobble, I&#039;m not sure what&#039;s causing it.&nbsp; Once I have .3 dialed in and regular, I&#039;ll attempt the .1 again and see if it&#039;s the screw or maybe bed temp settings.</p><p>Edit:<br />Here&#039;s a good example of the regularity:<br /><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.kenzden.com/download/HingePart.jpg" alt="http://www.kenzden.com/download/HingePart.jpg" /></span></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I think I have a bit of this going on in mine as well. Not as noticeable as yours, but I can see the stepper slightly moving like yours. I notice it quite a bit at .2mm but not as much at .3mm </p><p>I am wondering how you would go about replacing it yourself? Has anyone bought a new Z axis threaded rod and got it working successfully?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>OK, I&#039;ve done every calibration known to this forum and some that I&#039;ve found elsewhere.&nbsp; I still have banding on my print every millimeter or so.&nbsp; This is the only thing that I can think of that could be causing this issue... is anyone else&#039;s z-stepper doing this?</p><p><div class="fancy_video_tag_player"><iframe class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="640" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wuimjo3hAwM" frameborder="0"></iframe></div></p><p>The steel base of the unit is wobbling due to the stepper&#039;s rotation.&nbsp; The objects by the motor show the extent of the wobble and as you can see they go up and down with the rotation of the screw.&nbsp; I don&#039;t know if it is normal for this or if my screw is just tweaked.&nbsp; </p><p>As an FYI, this has been doing this since day one... just never gave it any thought til now that I&#039;ve exhausted all my options.</p>]]></content>
