			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The easiest way to start modeling something in my opinion is to use 123d (<a href="http://www.123dapp.com/">http://www.123dapp.com/</a>).&nbsp; It requires a free account, and will exports .stl files, the standard for 3d printing.&nbsp; Other software exists to do the same thing with more detail and control, but it is often very confusing to use.&nbsp; Another &quot;easy&quot; piece of software to use is Sketchup. (<a href="http://www.sketchup.com/">http://www.sketchup.com/</a>)&nbsp; It does not export directly to .stl files, but there are plugins which are easily found to do that.&nbsp; Good luck!</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello Everyone,</p><p>I&#039;m interested in 3D-printing but was wondering how the modeling for the 3D-printing is done.&nbsp; Do I need a CAD program and if so want type for software is needed?&nbsp; Or will some type of &quot;other&quot; software programs provide the design connection used to get my design ideas ready for 3D-printing?&nbsp; I have some ideas for designs but not sure how to get started with this technology.</p><p>Would like reply to this post and any ideas you may have,&nbsp; thanks</p>]]></content>
