I think something might be wrong with the motherboard or some other hardware issue. I am still not getting any readings from my Solidoodle after flashing it. Possibly due to my fault for accidentally having the motherboard touch the back of the printer while it was on. The LEDS flickered and the green light on the board went off. As soon as I stopped them from touching they went back to normal. Everything still runs as far as lights and fans- just no manual input controls from Repetier. May that have caused the no readings and response? I am still getting "Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart." messages every time I click a command.

I can't say for sure if shorting out your board caused damage but I can say it probably didn't help the situation.  Make sure your thermistor wires aren't shorted out or broken and that nothing else looks out of place.  Then start saving your money for a new board.  There are many to choose from and it is a great opportunity to upgrade to one that offers many more features.  The most notable would be ones that allow G-code fan control.

Please press the RESET BUTTON on your Teensy to upload your sketch.  Auto-reboot only works if the Teensy is running a previous sketch.

I hit the restart button after I get this message. Is there any indicator that it went through? Is there a way to check that it transferred?

I got the github message when I opened Repetier. My CMD prompt booted . However when I connect, my thermister does not read and I cannot get my solidoodle do to anything.
The bed wont move, the extruder wont move, nothing. It just turns on and the fans spin.

What I think what it is, is that the reset button on the motherboard is not working. When I hit reset, it seems like nothing happens.

For the Booter I used tin foil and and tried with electrical tape to hold them together on two different occasions. The one with tin foil was the one that actually worked.

Did I do something to the motherboard? Do I need a new one? Is there something that I am missing? I do not know what to do.

Quick question: Where can I get a more powerful power supply that will fit on the Solidoodle 3? Any physical stores? Ie Best buy, Radioshack , etc? If not, a link to one online?

I just got this and it's working pretty well.
Radio Shack would charge an arm and a leg for something like this. I'd recommend Amazon-ing it up and take advantage of their free 2 day shipping trial. It would also give you an excuse to grab a spool of filament

Shorting the two pins while resetting the board is correct.  It seems since it doesn't go over 220 the firmware didn't actually flash over.  Are you using the HID bootloader to flash?

For easy checking to see if it updated or not you can fix the language problem yourself when you're in the firmware changing values around.

Lines 32-34 in language.h, I have the printrboard and using 81 myself.  The firmware I have from lawsy's github doesn't have that as an option in the language tab.  I just added the extra "|| MOTHERBOARD == 81"

Hey Guys! I got the extruder installed. I am having some issues with the Firmware. I found the topics in this forum and changed the lines of code where they told me to. I am having some weird things happening since I changed them. Firstly, the Repetier software seems to crash a lot, giving me the M999 restart prompt. Also when I click on the direction arrows in Repetier to move the Extruder around, it often does not read and then the software crashes. It also does not go up to 310C and stops at the cap around  220 or so (I dont remember the exact number).
Is there a way to get the default firmware? Also could this be a power supply issue? I still have the one provided from the original.

Sounds to me like you figured out how to change the firmware but haven't figured out how to flash it to the board.  I am guessing that if you changed max temp to 300 it is hitting max temp at 220.  You don't want the default SD firmware as that is what is causing M999 max temp

Sorry for all the questions. Just making sure I am doing this right as this is all new to me.
