			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I encountered this as well...if the .stl source file is in mm (which it probably is) and your default SW units are set to inches, then you will need to scale down by 25.4; but it seems like your default is in CM.</p><p>When you import use the File / Open command and when the dialog box pops up, change the File Type to .stl; single click on the file, and then hit the &quot;options&quot; button and you can select &quot;mm&quot; for the import regardless of your default settings...</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>When importing there are a couple of options and there were some about units of the source and scaling. Check if you&#039;re not importing in &#039;cm&#039; or if the scale is OK.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Title pretty much says it all. When I import an STL into Solidworks as a solid, it makes the thing larger by a factor of ten. Ie. if the measurements in another program like SketchUp show it an edge to be 200mm, when I measure it in Solidworks the same edge is 2000mm</p><p>Any thoughts?</p>]]></content>
