I'm looking into this as well but I do have a sanguinololu.

I'm using an ATX PSU, and it whould be doable, since an ATX is designed to be turned on or off by the motherboard.

I guess it will just be a question to find 2 pins available on the sanguinololu, or printrboard, and put a line in the firmware to activate this fonction.

I'm digging informations, it may take me a while, as this is just one of my hobbies, but I'll find out.

Has anyone got the 'on/off' switch to work in repetier (e.g. using an ATX supply or a relay)? I've got one of the new SD printrboards.

Is it of any advantage other than being cool to go click-click from within the software?

My thought was that I'd quite like to turn the 12V supply off (even with a relay on the AC side) when the print is finished, as I print at night and am keen on the thing turning itself off kind of completely. I use a timer on the wall outlet at the moment.
