Also, we're finding that the best way to get even blending of color is to extrude normally, chop back up, and re-extrude.

All sellers are based overseas and shipping makes it too expensive so I thought I'd just ring a company from my country and try and get quotes from them.

Are there particular grades of ABS and PLA I should be specifying? I'd like to know the jargon before I ring up and sound stupid.

I'm mainly thinking about ABS and PLA that will both be able to make an even coloured spool with the right techniques.
