Set that offset to zero then start a simple print job with a good skirt or brim. I use a circle and a single skirt line and start and kill the print during the skirt. Each time I adjust the screw until I get a nice flat line on the glass. This will also tell you if the bed is level in relation to the nozzle movement. I also decrease the flow of that first layer so it doesn't curl (get wavy) on a single line. What you want is a line that is about 2 times your nozzle diameter on that first layer. I find that decreasing the flow of that first layer allows for amazing adhesion to the glass without over extrusion that can mess up the second layer.

A ton of spray can be problematic.
Try flipping your glass over to rule out the glass as the cause.
Verify that there isn't a clod spot on the bed and that there isn't a draft in that area of the platform.
Also it always helps to squish the first layer as much as possible.
The problem may not be related to the bed at all and could be the result of a bent rod or something else that is out of calibration. If you set the nozzle so it just touches the glass on one side it should be that way everywhere on the glass. If it's not you have a bent rod.
