Looks awesome, kind of like coral. Print a couple of vases as a keepsake before you fix it.

I'm with ward here - wobble somewhere. Try the plastic clamp thing that runs along the rear x rail (under the extruder motor) - it's been loose on arrival for some people (too tight will bind, only adjust if there's more than about 0.5mm of wobble there). Is the extruder firmly attached to the carriage? Is there anything visibly cracked or split in any of the printed mechanical parts (carriages, pulley blocks, etc.)?

If it's an extrusion problem (under/over/intermittent) azerate's plan will help you find out. Make sure your extrusion temp is correct too, if you're extruding a bit cold you'll under-extrude and threads won't stick well. Tell-tale sign would be plastic shavings off the extruder drive gear.

1) Calibrate the extruder. If you do not know how to, go to Youtube and type in Solidoodle Extruder calibration. You could possibly be under-extruding.
2) If you have a caliper, measure the filament you are currently using. If you go through Slic3r filament setting tab, there will be a box for Filament Diameter. This is very important. When I checked my settings, while curious as to why I set a .9 infill and I could still use prints as sunglasses, I noticed the setting was 3mm. Stock Solidoodle only allows 1.75mm. After measuring filament at 1.78, I have no problem anymore.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone, for some reason all of my prints come out with weird perimeters. I've calibrated the extrusion width and leveled the be to the best of my abilities. I'm printing at .3mm with at least 4 perimeters. My prints still work fine but i would like to be able to have a nicer finish. I've looked all over the forum and haven't found anything that really looks the same. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks for the help!
