Been on and off of airplanes so didn't have a chance to reply and/or test but you do have a point
as I did flash that firmware with the new max temp and forgot that I had to adjust the EEPROM settings with the modified extruder calibration value.

Will give it a try this weekend.

Possiblities:

Extrusion does not look calibrated. Your not pushing the right amount, which would cause the layer adhesion issues seen.

Retraction could use tuning. There are lots of strings there, and thats not common with a direct extruder.

You also have alot of Z layer movement. My guess is that you are getting curling on overhang areas and the nozzle bumps into these curls causing the bed to shift out of place making the entire print shift out of place.

Hi Solidoodlers,

My SD3 was going and performing well since I got it 4 weeks ago.
But suddenly things started to get out of track as seen in the pictures below (printing a cable-chain)
all four parts suffer from the same symptoms although some at different layer heights than others.

More details:
I mainly did two changes recently that I could relay the problem to:
-Started to print FlexPLA and had to increase the max temp to 245 (setting RepetierHost at 237) didn't workout
all too good as the FlexPLA still managed to get clogged between the gears of the extruding mechanism.
-Moved to a glass bed with hair spray and getting things to calibrate is not as easy as it was with no glass and blue tape.

Any feedback or help is appreciated.

Note, I already went ahead and ordered an E3D hot end v5 to make sure I have a good hotend and not worry about too much heat.
