I bought a spool of black not too long ago for making grips and shoe insoles.  I haven't been able to print with it because with the stock extruder it just wants to curl around the gear.  I already have a bowden E3d here to install, and currently printing Lawsy's carriages.

I tried quite a few different temperatures and feed rates to no avail.  It would act as if I couldn't melt it fast enough before the pressure required to push it down just sent it in another direction above the hot end.  I will have some downtime from work soon so I'm am going to overhaul the printer.

The filament by itself is very very flexible, i can tie it in knots no problem.

Same issue here, it just curls around the gear.

Any ideas to fix it? I would rather make this work with the stock extruder.

I was thinking of something I could jam in there to stop it from wanting to go underneath the wheel, but can't think of anything. I tried printing something but couldn't print it thin enough to stick in there.
