Is it as good as the dollars I have into my dev rig? It has not paid for itself yet but that is not the point. I got it to see what it could do and what I could do with it. It may or may not pay off like my development rig. If it does not then whatever I leaned along the way was worth it. It is odd, maybe a geek thing, where you learn one thing and it pays off somehow someway later. To quote Neo, now I know kung fu, or gcode, or whatever.

As far as a business idea goes, don't quit your day job. There are insanely driven individuals (+love) and big money corporations out there behind this already.

How much time is your printer being used versus how much downtime? Also do you feel like your printer has been a wise investment, purely from a financial perspective? I know it's not a very interesting question but I am trying to get a feeling for a business idea. Thank you for any feedback.
