			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>You can use either, as long as it is properly setup on your firmware to use that kind of thermistor. I don&#039;t know if the one you have stock for your solidoodle has the same resistance correspondence as the one you bought.</p><p>For example, when you switch to the E3D it uses a different thermistor type in the firmware, so you have to change that.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I also believe that the blue connector for the thermistor on the e3d wiki is not right, but luckily some normal break-away headers can be used as well and maintain the easy coupling.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Smaller is better for thermistors, as it lowers the time constant.</p><p>OP, I&#039;m not sure what you&#039;re asking here - as long as the setting in your firmware matches the installed thermistor, you&#039;re good to go.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>When I got my E3D from Filastruder, I immediately noticed how small the thermistor was in comparison to the stock one. However, It is certainly an upgrade.<br />I am not an electrical expert, so I cannot give a definitive word of wisdom. <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/sad.png" width="15" height="15" alt="sad" /><br />However, some of the best minds on here contribute regularly to Soliwiki. </p><p>Is the thermistor you are holding the old or the new?</p>]]></content>
