All of the 'home/consumer' FDM printers are basically the same in operation with very few differences between any of the hundreds of 'brands' out there so pretty much all of the issues and idiosyncrasies related to FDM printing are covered in any of the reprap related forums. The same is pretty much true for the software side of things although lately some of the main 3DP programs out there are finding their niche and concentrating on different types of users and methods of getting to the final print.

I received my first solid doodle recently and have high hopes. I started a 3D printing business making models for RC aircraft builders and Victorian Sci-Fi games. The machine was highly recommended by an associate and as soon as I can get it up and running I have a bunch of 1/3 scale models that need to be printed.

The biggest issue I am having with the machine is that it is not user friendly. Is there anyone in the SC, NC or GA that would mind tutoring me next weekend? I will travel.

Richard
