Out of curiosity, who's offering a 1 week turnover. I think SD just made the SD4 1 week a few days ago. I'm curious how that will go down. That's the only company that I'm aware of that had made such a claim. That's why I ask if you know of any others making this claim. I look forward to following the progress of your experiment.

Hey everyone!

The Plan:

1.) Order 3D printer from online retailer with claim of shipping in 1 weeks time
2.) Tweet about it
3.) Unboxing Video, which will cover the unbox, setup, software install, loading the filament, all the way to printing, and pulling it off the build platform , all the while getting some cool close ups in good lighting.....

but only if it comes in the 1 weeks time

I don't recall exactly how I got here, but I think it had to do with @Barnacules (great videos) , which led me to this guy: TimmyTechTV which led me straight here

I kick-started a few printers, but have only received the Form 1 SLA printer so far. Unfortunately I have had to send two units back due to galvanometers going out of whack. Also unfortunate that the other printers have been delayed

I also backed an inexpensive 3d 'kit' that promised a 6 week delivery, but the printer is only now 'in production'

Rather than be discouraged by these issues, I see it as an opportunity to get more printers. Eventually I will have at least one operational at a time to help fix the others

Let's see how long it takes for my first print: Ready.... purchased!.... Posted.... go!
