Open Slic3r and look at your filament settings.
You need to use a caliper to measure the filament going into the extruder. I recently had the same problem and noticed it was set to 3. After measuring and dropping the number to 1.82, my problems went away.
Without an image, it is rough for us to give advice.

Hope this helps.

I've gone through the whole suite of calibration.. XYZ, flow rate, extruder calibration, etc. but I've obviously missed something. When printing some items, I find that the inner layers lay down ok individually, but don't connect to eachother. Everything is nice and straight, but without the internal connection, there is very little structural support.

In taking a look at the attached pic, see that the individual layers are connected to the bottom layer (and together everything is together ok on the plate), but are definitely separate layers.

What do I need to do to make it more robust/have these things connect?

Edit: Huh.. pic didn't attach first time around.

Shawn
