			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Thanx for the response.&nbsp; I found the Y belt calibration/adjustment, and am working on it as we speak.&nbsp; They show how to adjust it, but they don&#039;t show to what tension, or how to know if it is right.&nbsp; &nbsp;Just gotta keep working at it til I get it right..</p><p>Thanx again</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Check to see that your Y belt tension is even throughout the whole belt.&nbsp; It sounds like some slack is accumulating during the longer excursions.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[SD2 Y axis clunk]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Finally got it adjusted where I thought it would print - it did, for a few small prints.&nbsp; Tried to print the flat brackets for the MK1 spool holder off Thingiverse.&nbsp; It seems that any long y-axis travel causes a noticeable &#039;clunk&#039; when changing direction into the y-axis from back to front (+ to -),&nbsp; thus causing a 1/16 or so inch rearward displacement of the print on each run .&nbsp; This happens immediately on the first few layers.&nbsp; </p><p>Finally got most of the &#039;not sticking&#039; problem solved and now this.&nbsp; This happens on anything longer than about a 1 inch y-axis print line.&nbsp; </p><p>Really need a spool holder to feed vertically (least resistance), as it seems the spool that came with the filament I have causes too much drag on the print head, and again causes print distortion.</p><p>Any help here would be greatly appreciated.&nbsp; Will reply to any responses Fri evening or so - 0500 comes early for us older folks.......</p><p>Thanx</p><p>Ski</p>]]></content>
