Gonna make a better enclosure tomorow.(draped a mylar survival  blanket over the printer)

update: I got  the PLA, I printed new carriage ends with it , came out perfectly flat ,no curling at all.

Just be aware that PLA will start to soften at >60°C .. so you'll want to make sure the hotend does not radiate heat to the carriage at all or it will start deforming

I tried your suggetion about slowing down 1st layer, that seemed really help.I printed a 16 layer test square, no curling. Now to print a real part.

What I was getting at was it looks as though your hot end may be moving around slightly in the MK-5.  Make sure it can't wiggle around.

I can't see that it is tho.The machine is calibrated best I can get it . In the past it worked well,I printed a lot of good parts.
