Things to help with sticking...
1. Enclosure of any sort, Saran Wrap works well and is available in your kitchen drawer.
2. Level bed in relation to the nozzle.
3. Z-height adjustment you really want that first layer squished
4. First layer height setting in Slic3r reduce it to .3mm if on a .3 profile
5. Flat bed... a cheap piece of hardware store glass cut to size works great
6. Aquanet hairspray light coat on both sides of your glass and the glass will stick to your bed and your part will stick to the glass
7. Calibrate extruder if your over extruding the nozzle will drag across your print and knock it loose. (EEPROM E: steps/mm closer to 100)
8. If your using ABS heat your bed up to 105 and give it time to soak through your newly installed piece of glass. This will also help warm up the inside of your now enclosed printer and reduce shrinkage.
9. Get rid of that double stick tape

I've been messing around with my SD3 for a while now but I (or it) can't seem to make a decent print.
First my pieces wouldn't stick to the surface, wand would eventually get swept away by the printer head. I tried cleaning the bed but that didn't seem to work. I bought a roll of double sided tape which should be strong enough to stick things like rugs to the ground. Now my pieces stick to the board but seem to bend during the printing.
Even with the sticking surface the pieces rather tear themselves lose than stay straight. I've been printing with a cold bed, and tried heating it at 70 and 100 Celsius, But it doesn't seem to help.

I'm getting a bit tired of all this, does anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance.
